Privacy Policy

Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, city and country, date of birth, and the answers you give when you apply for a program or fill in onboarding and check-in forms.

Health and fitness information, with your consent: body measurements, weight, progress photos, meal photos and meal notes, sleep, mood, stress, energy, steps and water, strength logs, menstrual cycle information, and any medical conditions, injuries or dietary needs relevant to your program.

Sessions and messages: bookings and attendance for your coaching sessions, recordings of sessions held on Zoom, notes your coaches keep about your program, and messages we send you by email, WhatsApp and browser notifications.

Payments: the amount, date and status of your payments. Card and bank details are entered with our payment provider, Razorpay, and never reach us.

Technical information: your sign-in details, the pages and actions you use in the app, error reports, and the browser and device you use.

To run your program: your coaches use your information to plan your training, nutrition and sessions, follow your progress and support you.

To run the app: sign-in, reminders, session links, payment links and receipts, and keeping the service secure and working.

Meal photo feedback: when you log a meal photo, the app sends that photo once to Google's Gemini service to estimate what is on the plate and suggest feedback, which your coach reviews. Google may use these requests to improve its products while we are on its free tier.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your coaches and our team see the parts of your information they need for your program. Access inside the app is limited by role.

Service providers that run parts of the app for us: Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Vercel (hosting, in India), Resend (email), AiSensy (WhatsApp messages), Zoom (live sessions and their recordings), Vimeo (session recordings and workout videos), Razorpay (payments), Google (meal photo feedback, calendar invitations and, if you choose it, sign-in with Google) and your browser's push service (notifications). They process your information only to provide their service.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, subject to this policy.

We will only use your photos, story or testimonial in marketing with your separate written consent.

We keep your information while you are in a program and for a reasonable time after it ends, so you can see your journey and we can support you, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires for payment records. After that we delete or anonymise it.

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, each person sees only what their role allows, and photos and files are served through short-lived private links. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, get a copy of it, or have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law. You can withdraw your consent to health data processing at any time; we may then be unable to continue your program. Write to tech@thedmk.co.in and we will reply within thirty days.

You can turn off browser notifications in your browser settings and stop WhatsApp messages by telling your coach.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to object, to restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Our programs are for people aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Some of our service providers store or process information outside India. We use providers with appropriate safeguards for your information.

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. For a significant change we will also tell you in the app or by email.
